Every person has a different skin type. Skin conditions can be generally characterized into three categories. Normal Skin, Oily Skin, Dry Skin and combination skin, are four basic skin types that are mostly found. Oily skin type has a shiny appearance with large visible pores containing blackheads and whiteheads. The texture is thick, coarse and sallow yellow. The oiliness is mainly caused due to the over activity of sebaceous glands and overproduction of oil secretion. If a proper skincare regime is not followed the condition can worsen. Oily skin is the most cumbersome to take care of. In order to keep the oily skin healthy and good, it is important to follow a few skincare habits that can maintain the skin well-balanced and healthy.

  1. Cleanse With Refreshing Cleansers
Oily skin needs cleansers that are more refreshing and can also maintain the sebum level of the skin. Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Mint Cleanser is a soap-free cleanser that gently sloughs away the day’s dirt, grime and makeup. This is a boon for oily and acne-prone skin. Dampen skin, take a little cleanser with water and massage onto the face using circular strokes. Wipe off with damp cotton. Use it every morning and night.

  2. Always Use a Toner After Cleansing
Oily skin has enlarged a pore which secretes excessive sebum that causes skin oily and greasy. Since there is excess oil on the skin it leads to the clogging of pores due to dirt, dust, etc. To cleanse, unclog and close the pores always use a toner. Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Aromatic Skin Toner is suitable for oily skin types. It has a special formulation intended to clean and tone the skin without drying out skin. Enriched with extracts of Pomegranate together with Lavender and Peppermint heals, renews the skin cells and increases circulation in it. It is free from harmful chemicals, parabens, alcohol, artificial fragrance & colour. Directly spray it all over the face or dab onto the face with cotton.

  3. Exfoliation and Pack Application Once A Week
Exfoliation helps the oily skin to remove dead and dull skin. For exfoliation, oily skin should prefer using hydrating and refreshing exfoliation gels such as aloe vera or Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Peppermint Exfol Gel deeply cleanse & brighten your skin leaving it blemish-free and refreshed, without irritating or scratching the delicate and sensitive skin on your face and neck. After every exfoliation, apply a soothing face pack to tighten the skin and keep it more youthful. Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Detoxifying Mineral Pack is a rich source of pure and natural minerals that cleanse and nourish the skin effectively. This natural combination along with glycerin helps in absorbing impurities and repairing tired skin, thus ensuring your skin is deep clean, firm, and moisturized.

  4. Hydrating Moisturisers
Yes, oily skin does need moisturisation. When it comes to the moisturisation of oily skin, always prefer using hydrating moisturisers instead of oil-rich moisturisers. Hydrating moisturisers are those which have more water content as compared to oils or glycerin. Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Juniper Berry Oil Free Moisturiser protects, moisturises and brightens your skin. It helps regulate the oil level in the skin. The non-greasy gel formula helps heal acne and lightens blemishes leaving the skin nourished, fresher and brighter.
