Acne occurs by excessive oil glands in the skin and a buildup of oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria in the skin pores which leads to inflammation, redness, breakouts, and acne on the skin. These oil glands get stimulated when hormones become more active during puberty. That's why teenagers are more prone to acne breakouts. As a person enters their teenage years he/she should be given proper skincare that includes a deep cleansing of the skin and its pores. This skincare should also include products that help in balancing the sebum secretion of the skin and also include a sunscreen that protects the skin from the sun.
