Whenever it comes to moisturisation, people generally neglect oily skin. Oily skin results from excessive sebum secretion, whereas moisturised skin refers to the balanced secretion of sebum.

Oily skin also needs moisturiser but the moisturiser to be used on oily skin needs to be more hydrated than being oily. The water content in the moisturiser should be higher. Moisturisers help to control sebum production by unclogging pores, making skin less oily.

In this blog, we will share some moisturiser to keep oily skin well hydrated and moisturised.

Raw Milk: It may sound dubious, but raw milk has magnificent properties in it that serve oily skin with wonderful benefits. Take 3 to 4 spoons of milk and dip a cotton ball into it. Gently apply it all over your face and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes. Milk has lactic acid in it that helps to control sebum secretion in the skin. It has great nutritional value that fights against acne-causing bacteria and keeps the skin nourished and hydrated.

Frankincense with Jojoba Oil: Take half a teaspoon of Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Jojoba Oil and add 2 drops of Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Frankincense Essential Oil in it. Apply the mixture onto the face, gently massage for 4 to 5 minutes and wipe off with a wet wipe or wet cotton. Frankincense oil has anti-bacterial and antifungal properties that help to remove excess oil from the skin and jojoba oil is a non-comedogenic that prevents clogging of pores and keeps the skin moisturised.

Lemon and Honey: Lemon and honey both have antibacterial and antioxidant properties that remove the dead skin cells and moisturise the skin. Take a spoon full of honey and add 8 to 10 drops of lemon juice. Apply the mixture all over the face and leave it for 5 minutes and rinse off. Honey has humectant properties that help to hydrate the skin without making it oily.

Aloe Vera: Aloe vera has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, it helps to soothe and nourish the skin. Take out a fresh aloe vera pulp and apply it to the face. Leave it for 15 minutes and rinse off. Aloe vera helps to seal the moisturiser into the skin and it is a significant source to keep skin hydrated all the time.

Juniper Berry Oil Free Moisturiser: Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Juniper Berry Oil Free Moisturiser helps regulate the oil level in the skin. The non-greasy gel formula helps heal acne and lightens blemishes, leaving the skin nourished, fresher and brighter.

Do a patch test before going ahead with any remedy. These easy remedies will help your skin to stay moisturised and hydrated, keeping it healthier and acne-free. Moisturising your skin doesn't refer to greasiness it refers to the hydration for the skin.
